It seems that everywhere you turn, there's a new weight loss product or supplement promoted with extensive promises of quick and close to effortless weight loss. One of these product lines is Quick Trim, a 4 product line run by GNC, one of the most reputable supplement companies in the world..

The 4 products in the QuickTrim line feature a gel to combat cellulite, tablets to help boost metabolism, curb cravings, and burn more energy, as well as a cleansing formula designed to help you purify your body.

The purpose of all the products is the same: helping people to lose weight fast and with a small dose of effort. In fact, one of the QuickTrim products is claimed to help you burn up to 8,000 extra calories a month and is able to boost your calorie burn rate to 300% its normal rate.

The question is whether or not Quick Trim really works? After all, these claims do appear to be exaggerated and many fat loss experts agree that losing weight should be the result of a real lifetime change with a sensible diet and regular exercise being a part of your day to day routine.

Let's go over the pros and cons of this product.

Pros:

- This product is sold by GNC which is a highly reputable global company with many branches, products, and is considered one of the giants of the supplement market.

- QuickTrim products are made of all natural ingredients.

- The products are easy to use as all you need to do is either drink the cleansing beverage, rub on the cellulite gel, or take the tablets a few times a day.

- The products are easy to get. You either order them online or get them at one of GNC's stores worldwide.

Cons:

- As with any supplement, the QuickTrim site states that the products and claims have not been evaluated by the FDA.

- There is no clear mention of any studies which have been conducted on these products themselves so there's no way to support the weight loss claims attributed to them.

- Taking any weight loss supplement takes you further away from really changing your lifestyle and turning it into a healthier one. I believe that you need to lead a healthy life and the fat will be gone.

- At the moment, when you look at user reviews on the GNC website, it seems that more than half of them have negative things to say about these products than good. You do need to give GNC credit for letting people post their reviews freely on their site.
